OptometristDr. Cody Pigott
We are excited to welcome Dr. Cody Pigott! Cody is a native of Monticello, Arkansas, where he graduated high school in 2014. He then attended Arkansas State University, where he met his wife, Chloe.
Cody and Chloe were married shortly after attaining their degrees in Biology from ASU in 2018. Chloe went on to earn her doctorate in physical therapy, with which she graduated in 2021. After working for a year in private practice, she is excited to use her training and experience to care for the people of Heber Springs as she begins work at Ivy Physical Therapy.
After graduating from ASU, Cody attended Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee. He participated in various clubs and activities, including the Optometric Private Practice Club and Fellowship of Christian Optometrists, through which he attended medical missions abroad. In addition to education and training at the school, he gained clinical experience in modes of practice centered on optimal refractive correction including glasses and contact lenses. He also received extensive training in disease diagnosis and treatment, including cataracts, glaucoma, diabetic and hypertensive retinopathy, inflammatory disease, macular degeneration, and more.
Cody and Chloe are excited to provide personalized healthcare to the residents of Heber Springs, but they are also eager to get involved in the community. They are small town people at heart, and are pleased to call Heber Springs their new home. They have recently purchased a home in town and are anxious to begin their residence and service in the community.
Cody and Chloe love to spend time outdoors and with their black lab, Duke. Cody enjoys hunting and fishing, and Chloe spends much of her free time running. They are active members of their church in Memphis, and will be looking to join a local congregation.
“We are so grateful for this opportunity. We cannot wait to serve the people of Heber Springs and make this community our home!”
Dr. Joe Sugg states “I am very excited about Cody and Chloe coming to our practice and community. They are an awesome young couple who are anxious to get involved in the community. They will both be excellent additions to the local healthcare system. Cody spent a lot of time as a child coming to Heber Springs and spending time on the Little Red River, so he’s very excited about settling down in this area. I couldn’t be happier to have them both coming to our community.”
